CHAPTER SPONSORED MEETINGS of interest. Click on the link above to access various articles on mental health.

Café CAMFT: meets the 4th Friday of every month (except November & December) from 12:00 to 1:30.
Café CAMFT is a cafeteria selection of psychotherapeutic topics presented in a roundtable, informal luncheon meeting, so bring your own brown bag, or purchase a ‘take-out-lunch’ at one of the delicious local restaurants. Our discussions have been candid, informative, occasionally controversial, and at times deeply personal. The atmosphere that has evolved is one of diversity, enthusiasm, inclusion and warm peer support.
Come and share your own experiences, and learn from one another. It’s what the Café is all about.

To vol
unteer to speak or to help out with the Cafe, contact Sylvia Yee at cafecamft@santacruztherapist.org or at 831-479-1276 or Connie Grimes @ CONNIEKG@aol.com. Please note: when topics are presented for possible inclusion in our program or when someone volunteers or is volunteered to present a topic, the topic is entered on the survey. We rate the topics with the presenter’s name blinded – we are not rating the speaker. If a topic receives comparably high ratings, it may be selected for one of our meeting topics. These meetings are not intended to be trainings, but rather, as mentioned above, sharing of information, discussion, a place to ask questions of our peers, etc.

Come and join the discussions and get to know your colleagues and fellow CAMFT members in informal discussions, and thought provoking exchanges.

Networking: We open each meeting with time to network, to share our current activities, groups or specialties, to pass out fliers, trade business cards, and to let each other know who we are and what we're currently focusing on. Bring your business card to participate in the drawing for a FREE lunch at Gayle's Bakery.
