With this very first networking event of the year—we are not just stepping into another calendar cycle. We are stepping into possibility. Into the chance to pause, breathe, and ask ourselves: What do we want to create in 2026?

Therapists, counselors, and behavioral health colleagues carry a unique responsibility. Every day, we hold space for transformation, resilience, and hope. But this space is for us. For our community. For the collective wisdom that emerges when behavioral health professionals come together with open hearts and shared purpose.

Setting Intentions for 2026 is more than a title—it’s an invitation. An invitation to:

  • Plant seeds of growth in our own practices and lives.
  • Strengthen connections with one another, knowing that collaboration fuels resilience.
  • Envision the future of our profession and the impact we want to have on our clients, our community, and ourselves.

Individually, each of us will set intentions that guide our personal journey. Collectively, we will weave those intentions into a tapestry of shared vision—one that reflects the strength, compassion, and creativity of the Santa Cruz CAMFT community.

So let us begin this year not with resolutions that fade, but with intentions that endure. Let us honor the work we do, the lives we touch, and the community we build together.

Here’s to 2026!
